Software allows dental offices to process transactions using the Internet for fast and efficient credit/debit card transactions.

CHADDS FORD, Pennsylvania--ADSTRA SYSTEMS has released the second generation of its ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS free software for electronic claims, which integrates the CAM Commerce Solutions X-Charge payment processing system.

This allows dental offices to process transactions using the Internet for fast and efficient credit/debit card transactions.

ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS contains the essential components of ADSTRA's full-featured practice management software program. It easily and efficiently provides tools for patient registration, treatment charges, electronic claims submission through Emdeon (formerly WebMD), payments tracking, and complete ledger cards.

The program also includes treatment logs, treatment planning, predeterminations, clinical notes, prescriptions, and orthodontic treatment logs.

The X-Charge credit card processing component is integrated into the ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS payments screen, eliminating data entry duplication. The current patient's name and address, as well as the amount selected, are automatically used. Transaction details are stored in the Payments Log for ease of auditing. X-Charge supports all major credit cards.

The new version is available to download without charge from ADSTRA Systems.

The ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS software is free with Emdeon registration. Without Emdeon registration, the free software allows up to 300 patients and charges.
