A next-generation oral cancer screening device, the Identafi 3000 from Trimira LLC, will be introduced at an 11 a.m. press conference Feb. 28, 2009, at the Chicago Midwinter Meeting.
The press conference will be held in the CDS Press Conference Room at the meeting.
This small, cordless, handheld cancer screening device uses a three-wavelength optical illumination and visualization system to catch early signs and stages of oral cancer that can often be missed by the naked eye.
Media kits will be distributed at the press conference.
