Ivoclar Vivadent debuts Monobond Plus

July 8, 2009
Universal primer offers ease of use for indirect applications.

AMHERST, New York--Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the debut of Monobond Plus, a universal, single-component primer for indirect restorative materials.

The combination of three different functional groups--silane methacrylate, phosphoric methacrylate and sulfide methacrylate--helps ensures that a strong and durable bond to dental restorative materials will be established.

As a result, with Monobond Plus, dentists only need one primer for restorative materials. This includes metal, metal-ceramic, all-ceramic, zirconia, and composites. Clinicians can note the benefits of one, 60-second application procedure for materials with no special storage requirements.

Monobond Plus provides ease of use and a uniform reaction time for indirect restorative materials to help achieve reliable bonds when placing indirect restorations.
