BioHorizons, an oral reconstructive device company, has announced the launch of MinerOss X, a family of xenograft products for dental implant site development procedures. The MinerOss Xfamily includes cancellous or cortical particulate, a moldable collagen block, and a cancellous particulate pre-loaded into a delivery syringe to assist with optimal placement. It is designed for extraction sockets, grafting for implant placement, ridge augmentation, and sinus augmentation.
“MinerOss X represents a significant addition to our innovative tissue regeneration product portfolio. MinerOss X is a xenograft alternative for predictable bone regeneration and complements our highly successful line of MinerOss allografts,” said Steve Boggan, the president and CEO of BioHorizons.
MinerOss X particulates range in size from 250 to 1000 microns, providing handling characteristics for a wide variety of regeneration procedures. MinerOss X particulates are available in 0.25 g, 0.5 g, 1.0 g and 2.0 g vials with a screw-top lid. MinerOss X syringe is available in 0.25 cc, 0.5 cc and 1.0 cc sizes for surgery. MinerOss X collagen is also available in three sizes to support large and small grafting cases.
