What you want in an electric toothbrush (and what I love about mine)

Among dentists, there's not a lot of debate that electric wins over manual. Here's a look at why, and what Dr. David Rice especially loves about his electric toothbrush.

If there’s one thing we dentists know, it’s this: you have better things to do than come visit us. Learning to limit your dental appointments to oral health maintenance is your key to spending your time (and money) in ways you'd prefer.

Using an electronic toothbrush rather than a manual toothbrush will help. Check out our inside scoop on a great electric option, which happens to be one of my favorites.

In general, though, the best electric toothbrushes are the ones you'll love right out of the box. Here's what you should look for.
