BIOMET 3i and 3Shape collaborate to provide dental laboratory-designed patient-specific abutments for implant dentistry

BIOMET 3i and 3Shape A/S have entered into a collaborative relationship to provide dental laboratories with the ability to design patient specific abutments through the use of 3Shape Dental 3D Scanners, DentalDesigner^™, AbutmentDesigner^™ CAD Software and Computer-aided Manufacturing. BIOMET 3i will expand the digital dentistry product offering through 3shape with 3i^® incise^™ Copings and Frameworks in Zirconia and Cobalt Chrome. The copings and frameworks may be milled at BIOMET 3i and Renishaw’s central manufacturing sites or locally using a Renishaw Mill. This collaboration solidifies the BIOMET 3i commitment to continue its effort in driving the best esthetic patient outcomes.
