Sleep apnea research leads dentists back to the classroom

Live two-day courses pave the way for dentists and staff members to get a hands-on, in-depth experience on their role in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.

Sleep Group Solutions plans to increase its course offerings to dentists interested in screening for and treating sleep apnea over the next year.

Recent studies from the Journal of the American Medical Association prove a link between sleep apnea and dementia in women. Breathing disorders, such as sleep apnea, are getting more attention and research in the medical field, and now the dental profession has joined in.
