A full-day, hands-on introductory course on Lasers in Dentistry held recently at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry provided 65 attendees with exceptional education.
The collaborative approach allowed the University to conduct a multi-wavelength course following the Academy of Laser Dentistry's focus on balanced dental laser education. The Academy of Laser Dentistry welcomes the opportunity to team with dental schools and national associations to continue this successful educational program. The course was made possible by a gift from the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Joel M. White, DDS, MS, Professor and Associate Dean for Clinics Administration at UCSF School of Dentistry and Peter Rechmann, Prof. Dr.
med. dent, Professor and Director of Clinical Research at UCSF School of
Dentistry Division of Clinical General Dentistry were the faculty.

determine which lasers may be appropriate for their practice.
