HPSC awards six scholarships

HPSC, a major provider of financing to healthcare professionals, awarded six dental school students a $2,000 scholarship at this year's Yankee Dental Congress.

HPSC, a major provider of financing to healthcare professionals, awarded six dental school students a $2,000 scholarship at this year's Yankee Dental Congress. HPSC worked closely with three Boston-based dental schools, Tufts University, Boston University and Harvard School of Dentistry, to select the final recipients. In the end, two students from each University were awarded the well-deserved MDS Foundation/HPSC Dr. Louis J.P. Calisti Scholarships. The recipients are:

Boston University:
Mr. Richard Nguyen
Mr. Aristedes Tsikoudakis

Harvard University:
Mr.Tuan Tia
Mr. Judah Garfinkle

Tufts University:
Mr. Hung Vo
Ms. Marianne Youssef

Among the stringent criteria, applicants must be enrolled as a senior in a Boston-based dental school, maintain a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher, and present a qualified financial need.
