CULVER CITY, Calif.--Discus Dental, Inc., a leader in the marketing and worldwide distribution of premium clinical and aesthetic products to dental professionals and leading-edge oral care products direct to consumers, has announced key appointments to its senior management.
David Earling Anderson, with 18 years of experience in building sustainable, high-performing global work forces within growing organizations, joins the organization as Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Anderson is an MBA graduate of the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and began his education with a bachelor's degree in Science from Kettering University (formerly, General Motors Institute) in Michigan.

Part of his professional journey has been in strategic and hands-on consulting capacities with senior leaders of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sony, Disney-ABC Media Networks, HealthNet, and ArthroCare Medical Devices.
He also has held in-house global HR roles in all functional aspects of human capital management in such enterprises such as Detroit-based General Motors Corporation, Sydney-based Broken Hill Proprietary Limited, and Oakland-based Clorox Company. His portfolio of experience also includes extensive start-up experience in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Anderson's business focus is complemented with a genuine passion for
empowering employees, creating energizing work environments, developing positive experiences for customers, and securing results for shareholders.
He joins other new additions to the leadership group at Discus Dental:
Sally Knutson joined Discus as Senior Vice President and CFO. An honors graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, she has more than 17 years of financial management experience encompassing all aspects of Finance including strategic planning, M&A, systems implementations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, tax planning and acquisition.
Knutson began her career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then in industry establishing her corporate standing with such well-known brand names as the Dole Food Company, The Walt Disney Company, Korn/Ferry International, Futurestep, Inc., MusicNet, Inc. and then at Homestore, Inc., where she managed the integration of all areas of Finance.
Brendan McLoughlin joined Discus as Vice President & General Manager of Pharmaceutical and Consumer Products. An MBA graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Brendan received his bachelor's of science in Management Science from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
He is a consumer products executive who has launched more than 40 brands nationwide. Brendan brings experience from industry giant Johnson & Johnson, Inc. where he directed multiple consumer and pharmaceutical product lines including Neutrogena, Johnson's Kids, and Retin A.
McLoughlin's background also includes serving as the VP of Marketing for Teleflora, the world's leading supplier of products and services to the florist industry.
Prior to receiving his MBA, McLoughlin was a Systems Analyst and consultant with American Management Systems in Arlington, Virginia, supporting clients such as AT&T and Bell Atlantic.
