Masel has announced the fall schedule for their continuing education series on Digital Dental Photography. The hands-on course will have dentists and staff taking perfect clinical photographs by the end of the session. The 3½ hour workshop is taught by Ms. Rita Bauer, clinical photographer and educational media specialist at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry.

The courses will be held in Philadelphia on September 5, Chicago on September 13, Houston on October 3, New York on October 10, Baltimore on October 17, Boston on October 24, and Miami on November 7. The course offers 3 CE credits for ADA CERP and AGD PACE credits.

This hands-on workshop begins with a review on what digital photography can do for you and choosing the right digital camera for your practice. Following will be step by step instructions on operating the camera and how to set it up for standard clinical views. In addition, participants will also practice taking pictures using mirrors and retractors. Also discussed will be professional tips and secrets for dramatically improving facial views, and enhancing your images with easy-to-learn software.
