Nationally recognized Savannah dentist, Brad Durham, DMD, will teach a course in Savannah, Ga., Sept. 9-10 entitled "Achieving the Niche Dental Practice" to dentists around the country.
The course will be dealing with how to develop a full practice of patients who will request esthetic and neuromuscular services. Esthetic and neuromuscular services are rapidly becoming an alternative to traditional plastic surgery.
"Today's dental technology emphasizes facial beauty. Small changes in your
patient's teeth size, position and shape can make a huge impact on their facial appearance.
You can make your patient's lips fuller by having fuller teeth. The reason
why most people have thin lips is that their teeth are not full enough. If your patient's teeth are too short, their chin and nose will be too close to each other.
This compresses their face and creates wrinkles and deep creases. If the
teeth are (correctly) taller, their face and muscles are more elongated,
eliminating wrinkles.
To fix the above cosmetic concerns it can be as easy as adding porcelain to a
few teeth, or as complicated as rebuilding the entire mouth. Computer
programs can now tell exactly where your patient's bite should be, and show them the proposed changes in their face before any treatment is started," says Durham.
The seminar price is $2,995, which includes registration, breakfast, lunch
and supplemental materials. The price for additional team members is $795 each. Interested parties are requested to enroll through the Las Vegas Institute at 1.888.584.3237.
