TULSA, OK — For the fourth consecutive year, Tulsa dentist Joseph Massad, DDS, is being honored as a recipient of the prestigious Telly Awards for his accomplishments in video production, making him a 12-time winner with a total of two silver and 10 bronze Telly Awards.
“It’s always an honor to be recognized, but this year’s awards are as meaningful as those I received previously,” said Dr. Massad, noting that his entries were judged alongside those of multiple industries outside dentistry. He is also grateful to his youngest son who, as the recipient of30 Telly Awards, 12 Emmys, and two New York Festival World Medal, serves as his video production mentor.
Since 1979, Telly Awards have been presented to those productions demonstrating outstanding achievements in local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, in video and film productions, and in Web-based commercials, videos, and films. Long considered the premiere award of its kind, the Telly Awards competition attracts more than 11,000 entries each year from respected production companies, advertising agencies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments from all 50 states and from around the world. Entries are scrutinized by a national panel of judges and then rated on a 10-point scale.
