OSAP NewsFlash provides daily dental news

Nov. 9, 2005
Feature allows dental clinicians, educators, industry executives, and other interested individuals to scan timely news items related to infection control and safety.

The Organization for Safety & Asepsis Procedures (OSAP) now offers a daily news summary, "Newsflash," on its Web site at www.osap.org.

The Newsflash feature provides an instant snapshot of the day's news, allowing dental clinicians, educators, industry executives, and other interested individuals to quickly scan timely news items related to infection control and safety.

The OSAP Newsflash page is updated every day and features relevant news
stories culled from dozens of authoritative websites such as those established by news organizations such as Reuters and National Public
Radio, government agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and
the Food and Drug Administration, academic establishments, and
organizations such as the American Dental Association.

A variety of international sources provide global context as well. The Newsflash page lists each story, with a brief description and a direct link to the source material, allowing users to quickly scan the news and be able to
access additional information as desired.

This service saves the enormous amount of time it would take to search for and locate the individual news items manually. The Newsflash feature is free and available by clicking a link on the home page at www.osap.org.

Users can "bookmark" the OSAP website or add it to their Internet "Favorites" to be able to quickly access the Newsflash resource each day like a virtual newspaper.
