The DALE Foundation, the official affiliate of the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), is now accepting applications for the Liz Koch Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship program seeks to further the careers of oral health care professionals by encouraging lifelong learning. It helps them pursue their professional development goals and mentorship activities. This scholarship is open to dental assistants, DANB certificants, and other oral health-care professionals. The deadline to apply is May 20, 2019.
You may apply through one of two categories:
• Category 1 is meant for those who have been DANB certified for at least two years and have an account with the DALE Foundation
• Category 2 is meant for those who are not DANB certified or have been DANB certified for less than two years, and have an account with the DALE Foundation
Winners will be chosen based on their commitment to the oral health-care profession and mentorship experiences.
Winners will receive between $250 and $1,000, plus access to three continuing education products of their choice from the DALE Foundation catalog. Scholarship funds must be used for professional development activities, such as continuing education courses, dental conferences, DANB certification renewal, or college courses.
