The LOCATOR Retrofit for ERA Root Attachment is designed to convert worn or damaged standard sized ERA attachments to a new locator attachment.
When a cemented ERA root post or cast ERA attachment cannot be removed without possible damage to the supporting structure, this technique of cementing a LOCATOR Retrofit over the top of the ERA creates a new attachment for the patient in the dental operatory.
The Locator Denture Cap Male is picked up chairside into the patient's existing denture after removing the old attachment. The LOCATOR Retrofit attachment features a denture component with self-aligning ability to aid the patient in seating their prosthesis.
In addition, a combination of inside and outside retention (dual retention) provides the LOCATOR with long-lasting performance for the patient.
