Hoxie comes to the organization with more than 43 years of experience as a health-care executive. Hoxie has worked with a number of national medical and specialty organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Hospital Association, American College of Physicians, and American College of Surgeons. In addition to his background in health care, he has advised federal and state agencies in the development of quality and performance standards for health-care providers.
