Tulsa dentist Dr. Joseph Massad honored at ACP annual session
November 9, 2012, Baltimore, MD—Dr. Joseph Massad, a Tulsa, Oklahoma, dental practitioner was recently honored at the annual session of the American College of Prosthodontists in Baltimore, MD. Following his nomination by three ACP members in good standing and approval of the nomination by the ACP Board of Directors, Dr. Massad was named an honorary member of the ACP at the organization’s President’s Dinner and Awards Program in recognition of his career-long accomplishments in and contributions to prosthodontics and prosthodontics education.
In addition to leading a private dental practice in Tulsa, Dr. Massad holds faculty positions at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry; the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School, Department of Comprehensive Dentistry; and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Prosthodontics. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists and a Fellow and a Regent of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics. Dr. Massad has published numerous articles in an array of dental journals and was a co-recipient of the Judson Hickey Award for the best clinical article in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. He also is a frequent and popular lecturer at clinical sessions of international, national, and regional meetings of general and specialist dental professionals.
