The highest hourly rate reported was $55; the lowest was $21. 15% of the survey respondents from New York earn more than $45 an hour; 12% earn $25 an hour or less. Another 12% ear $40 an hour, the most common rate reported, but $14 reported earning either $28 or $29 an hour.
