Cefla North America has appointed Imaging Systems, Inc., as a nonexclusive dealer for its NewTom Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) products. Imaging Systems will promote and distribute NewTom to imaging centers in addition to being an authorized dealer for Biolase, which is the exclusive North American distributor of NewTom products to dental offices.
NewTom developed and offered the worldʼs first CBCT scanner for oral maxillofacial 3D imaging. Imaging Systems, Inc. is a Peachtree City, Ga., based company specializing in the sale of radiographic equipment. The Georgia-based company employs a sales and service team that has been trained on all NewTom machines VGi upright, VGi Flex mobile, and 5G supine CBCT units.

Cefla North America is the Charlotte-based subsidiary of Italian manufacturer Cefla s.c. From its 150,000-square-foot facility in Charlotte, the company serves customers of all its American and Canadian dental brands -- MyRay, Stern Weber, and NewTom. In the American dental markets, NewTom machines are now also available through Imaging Systems Inc.
